Why you should renew your RWVP early
Right now, thousands of workers and volunteers in Tasmania need to renew their RWVP. These high volumes mean it may take longer than the usual 6 weeks for your renewal to be processed. Your renewal may also take longer to process if your information has changed.
Leaving your renewal to the last minute means you run the risk of your RWVP expiring – and may mean you cannot work or volunteer with vulnerable people, including children, in a regulated activity until it is renewed.
Renewing early won’t change the end date of your current RWVP. Your renewed RWVP will begin when your current RWVP expires.
