Report a concern

If you have an immediate concern for the safety of a child or young person, call 000 (Triple Zero).

If you suspect a child or young person has been or is at risk of being abused or neglected, contact the Strong Families, Safe Kids Advice and Referral Line on 1800 000 123.

For non-emergencies or to report a crime, contact Tasmania Police on 131 444.

You can use this form to tell us if you suspect or know:

  • someone who holds a RWVP is engaging in reportable behaviour. This is behaving or acting in a way that poses a risk of harm to vulnerable people, including children. Find out more about reportable behaviour
  • someone is working/volunteering with vulnerable people, including children, who does not hold a RWVP or who has had their RWVP cancelled
  • an organisation is allowing someone to work/volunteer with vulnerable people, including children, who does not hold a RWVP or who has had their RWVP cancelled.

To help us fully investigate your concerns, please provide as much detail as possible. This will also help us identify the relevant individuals and organisations within our records.

We may also need to contact you for more information.

Information you provide is protected under the Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Act 2013. However we may share information with other relevant authorities such as Tasmania Police to protect vulnerable people, including children.
