To make the process a breeze, before renewing your RWVP, you will need to:
- have your current RWVP registration card number ready
- gather your proof of identity documents in front of you. You may need the expiry date or number (for example, if you’re using your driver’s licence or passport), so having your proof of identity documents in front of you makes it easy!
If your address, criminal history, or employer/volunteer organisation have changed over the last 5 years, you will need to provide:
- the address of every place you have lived over the last 5 years. This must include the dates you lived at the addresses
- details of any overseas offences you have committed
- details of any family violence orders, restraint orders, or apprehended violence orders taken out against you in the last 5 years
- details of any child protection orders you have had involvement in
- the name, address, start date, contact person, phone number, and email address of your new employer or volunteer organisation.
