Workers and volunteers
If you are a worker or volunteer, you can face penalties if you do not:
- apply for RWVP if you work or volunteer in a regulated activity
- hold the correct class of RWVP and keep this up to date if you change from volunteer to paid worker
- keep your personal and employment details up to date
- notify us of existing criminal charges, convictions or orders when you apply for RWVP, or any new ones once you hold a RWVP.
Employers
If you are an employer, you can face penalties if you do not:
- check that your workers and volunteers hold a RWVP before they start working or volunteering for you.
