    The purpose of this policy is to set out a framework for Department of Justice (DoJ) employees and other relevant persons to identify, disclose, manage and monitor conflicts of interest in a transparent way.

    The LGBTIQ+ Action Plan (the Plan) provides a framework for the Department of Justice to progress a range of issues and initiatives identified as priorities by the LGBTIQ+ community.
  • Solicitors' Guarantee Fund Grants Policy
    In response to recommendations from the Report of the Evaluation of the Tasmanian Legal Assistance Sector, the Department updated the SGF application and approval process. The SGF Grants Policy (link to Policy) was approved by the Minister in December 2019.
  • Work Health and Safety Policy
    The Work Health and Safety Policy covers all state servants and statutory and judicial office holders employed by the Department as well as contractors, visitors to departmental workplaces, inmates managed by the Tasmania Prison Service and people undertaking Community Service Orders.
