- Community Correction Orders
  A Community Correction Order allows an individual to remain in the community while serving their sentence.
- Home Detention
  Home Detention Orders require an offender to be at a specified premise, during specified times and to comply with strict conditions, including electronic monitoring.
- Community Service
  Community service involves unpaid work under the direction of a Probation Officer or a Community Service Supervisor. Community service may be required in sentencing or for unpaid infringment fines.

  A Court Mandated Diversion is a sentencing option that diverts eligible offenders into treatment for their drug use.

About Community Service

A court may order an offender to perform unpaid Community Service work.

The maximum number of Community Service hours for each offence is 240.

Under the direction of a Probation Officer or Community Service Supervisor, an individual may complete some of their hours by attending approved rehabilitative and educational courses or programs.

The Community Service Scheme aims to reduce re-offending. It provides opportunities for offenders to engage in rehabilitative and restorative community projects.
