- Orders
- Community Correction Orders
  A Community Correction Order allows an individual to remain in the community while serving their sentence.
- Home Detention
  Home Detention Orders require an offender to be at a specified premise, during specified times and to comply with strict conditions, including electronic monitoring.
- Community Service
  Community service involves unpaid work under the direction of a Probation Officer or a Community Service Supervisor. Community service may be required in sentencing or for unpaid infringment fines.
- Court Mandated Diversion and Drug Treatment Orders
  A Court Mandated Diversion is a sentencing option that diverts eligible offenders into treatment for their drug use.

If you are interested in a vacant fixed-term or permanent position with Community Corrections you can check the Tasmanian Government jobs website.

When applying you’ll need to address the selection criterion, and submit your resume. If you progress through to the next stage, you will be invited to a selection panel interview, and referee checks will be undertaken.

Pre-employment checks are a requirement for all employees. These checks cover previous criminal history, identification and previous disciplinary action in previous employment.

A relevant tertiary or industry qualification, as well as a current driver’s licence, are desirable (but not essential) requirements.
