The Tasmania Prison Service has launched a new Correctional Officer Recruitment Campaign, aimed at attracting people from across the community to build a strong, capable and diverse corrections workforce.
Centred on the tagline 'Bring your experience. Secure your future.', the refreshed campaign presents a modern, people‑focused view of correctional work. It highlights the importance of teamwork, communication, work-life balance and the meaningful contribution Correctional Officers make to community safety and rehabilitation.
The campaign features real staff stories, providing an authentic insight into the role and the skills and personal qualities required to succeed.
Designed to reach people from a wide range of professional and life backgrounds, the campaign recognises the value of transferable skills and lived experience, including those gained in roles such as customer service, care, trades, security, emergency services and community work.
