Victims of Crime Service

Victims Support Services manages the contract for the provision of counselling and support services through the Victims of Crime Services, which is funded by the Department of Justice.  Statewide services are provided by Lifeline Hobart and Lifeline North West.

The Victims of Crime Services are available, free of charge, to all victims of crime requiring counselling and support services together with information and referral.  Offices are located in Hobart, Launceston, Devonport and Burnie. 

Services can also be arranged for people in rural and remote areas.
