Probate

  1. Witness the executor’s Signature
    • Ensure you are only witnessing the signature on the application for probate, not verifying the will’s validity.
  2. Administer the executor’s oath
    • Administer the executor’s oath during the witnessing process.
  3. Sign and witness the executor’s signature on the will
    • Both you and the executor must sign the exhibit clause on the will.
  4. Ensure the jurat clause is signed
    • Confirm that the jurat clause in the affidavit is signed.
  5. Print your name and JP Number
    • Print your name under your signature and include your JP identification number.
