Expressions of Interest are sought for the position of a Tasmanian-nominated member on the Professional Standards Councils (the Councils).
Expressions of Interest for this position are invited from any person with relevant knowledge and experience of the operation of the Professional Standards Act 2005.
The Professional Standards Councils are independent statutory bodies with powers to assess and approve applications from associations for Professional Standards Schemes that limit the civil liability of members. The time commitment of Councils members is approx. 1 - 3 days per month, which includes reading technical and policy papers for meetings, and the interpretation of each is relied on to make complex decisions which may impact on Government’s reputation.
Further information about the Professional Standards Councils is available online on the Professional Standards Councils website or by contacting David Sealy in the Office of the Secretary on (03) 6165 4938.
