Member - Anti-Discrimination Tribunal

The Government of Tasmania is seeking expressions of interest in appointment as a member of the Anti-Discrimination Tribunal pursuant to the Anti-Discrimination Act 1998.

The Anti-Discrimination Tribunal conducts inquiries into complaints, and reviews decisions of the Anti-Discrimination Commissioner relating to exemptions, rejections and dismissals of complaints.

Expressions of interest are sought from persons who are an Australian lawyer of not less than 7 years' standing as an Australian legal practitioner, a magistrate or a former judge.

Responses must contain a curriculum vitae, the names of two (2) professional and confidential referees and a completed Probity Statement. Applicants must refer to the published selection criteria when completing their expression of interest. Assessments will be made against these criteria as a minimum.
