Criminal Injuries Compensation Commissioner

The Government of Tasmania is seeking expressions of interest for appointment as a full-time Criminal Injuries Compensation Commissioner pursuant to the Victims of Crime Assistance Act 1976.

Appointment is by the Minister for Justice for up to 12 months. The appointee will be employed full-time by Victims Support Services in on a fixed-term basis for the length of the appointment. The appointee will be required to work in Hobart. Employment in the State Service is governed by the State Service Act 2000. Remuneration will be paid in accordance with the Legal Practitioners Agreement (Legal Practitioner Level 3).
