I am qualified but not licensed in another State or Territory

If you are an interstate applicant without a licence in your home state, you must apply as a new applicant in Tasmania.

Privacy issues frequently prevent us from verifying these facts on your behalf.  It is important that you provide us with original certificates and other documentation. Experience gained outside Tasmania is particularly difficult to verify.

If successful for a licence as a Building Services Provider, you may be granted a licence that is conditional. This is a result of concerns that interstate experience was gained under different legal and local government requirements.

Conditional licensing may not be recognised by other states and territories for Mutual Recognition purposes.
