

If you wish to apply for a certificate, the following are available:
Decorative relationship certificates are printed on A4 size, superior quality paper, which makes them ideal for framing. The certificates are packaged in a protective cylinder. There are two types of decorative certificates available:
1. Issued after the registration is complete - This certificate uses information submitted on the original registration application and is available in two different designs. View decorative certificates
2. Ceremony issued certificate - After the Registrar has approved the application, this certificate is sent to a nominated person to be included in a ceremony. The registration date is nominated by the couple prior to the certificate being issued. This date can match the ceremony date, provided the ceremony takes place after the expiry of 28 days from when the application to register a Deed of Relationship was lodged. This is a requirement of the Relationships Act. The following information is completed on the day of the ceremony:

Once the 90 day period has lapsed after lodging your Application to Revoke a Registered Deed of Relationship, you can apply for a copy of the certificate noting the revocation. This certificate is printed on official certificate paper.
