Department of Justice
The Department of Justice is committed to the Tasmanian Government’s Disability Framework for Action 2013-2017, a whole-of-government approach to
that seeks to remove barriers and enable people with disability to enjoy the same rights and opportunities as other Tasmanians.
People with a disability represent a very significant stakeholder group for the Department of Justice. A number of areas of the Department, and many the statutory office holders and authorities it supports, have either a specific disability focus, or very high levels of engagement with people with a disability.
